Oodle Mums – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Oodle Mums (“we”, “us”, “our”), an online community and membership platform operated by Oodle Mums.

By accessing, browsing, joining, or using Oodle Mums (including our website, membership platform, content, and services), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, members (free or paid), and contributors.

 

2. About Oodle Mums (Platform-Only Service)

Oodle Mums is a community and connection platform only.

We exist to provide a digital space where women can connect, share experiences, and independently organise social interactions related to their dogs.

Oodle Mums:

  • provides the digital platform only;

  • does not organise, host, supervise, or manage in-person events;

  • does not vet, verify, or monitor members or their dogs; and

  • does not provide professional, veterinary, behavioural, medical, or legal advice.

All interactions, communications, meetups, and activities are undertaken solely at the discretion and risk of members.

 

3. Membership, Payments & Refunds

Paid Memberships

By purchasing a paid membership, you agree that:

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time via your account settings.

  • Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for any current or past billing period.

  • Access continues until the end of your paid billing cycle.

We reserve the right to change pricing, plans, or inclusions for future members. Existing members will be notified of material changes where required.

 

4. Eligibility

To use Oodle Mums, you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age;

  • have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements; and

  • be the owner or primary caretaker of an oodle dog.

You confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

 

5. Community Content & User-Generated Content

Members may post content including text, images, videos, event listings, recommendations, and comments.

By posting content, you:

  • confirm you have the right to share it;

  • grant Oodle Mums a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the platform; and

  • acknowledge that other members may view and interact with it.

We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of member-generated content.

 

6. Events, Meetups & External Listings

No Official Oodle Mums Events

Oodle Mums does not host or run official events.

All meetups, walks, playdates, and gatherings are:

  • organised independently by members or third parties; and

  • attended voluntarily and at your own risk.

External Events

Events shared on the platform may be hosted by external organisations or individuals and are subject to change or cancellation.

You are responsible for confirming details directly with the event host before attending.

 

7. Safety of Members & Dogs

Your safety and your dog’s wellbeing are your responsibility.

By using Oodle Mums, you agree to:

  • assess the safety of any event, meetup, or interaction;

  • supervise your dog at all times;

  • ensure your dog is healthy, vaccinated, socialised, and under effective control; and

  • comply with all laws, council rules, and leash requirements.

Oodle Mums accepts no responsibility for injuries, illness, loss, damage, or incidents involving people, dogs, or property.

 

8. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability

You acknowledge that dog-related social activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, behavioural incidents, or property damage.

By using Oodle Mums, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Oodle Mums and its owners, operators, and affiliates are not liable for any claims arising from:

  • meetups or events;

  • interactions with other members or dogs; or

  • reliance on content shared within the community.

 

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • behave abusively, unsafely, or unlawfully;

  • harass, bully, or discriminate against others;

  • post misleading, offensive, or inappropriate content; or

  • use the platform for spam or unauthorised promotion.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts without refund if these Terms are breached.

 

10. Intellectual Property

All platform content created by Oodle Mums (including branding, copy, graphics, and original materials) remains our intellectual property.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise our content without written permission.

 

11. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Oodle Mums accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We are not liable for outages, technical issues, maintenance, or data loss beyond what is required by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oodle Mums from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • your use of the platform;

  • your participation in events or meetups; or

  • your actions or your dog’s actions.

 

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Oodle Mums is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

14. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy:

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time if we believe a member’s behaviour poses a risk to others, dogs, or the integrity of the community.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
